While I have dabbled in the stealthy arts in MMORPGs, usually I choose to be a lot more straight-forward when it comes to hostile diplomacy. Plus, I don’t really care much for how games usually depict stealth, which is to make you semi-transparent and walking in a crouch like you gotta make a dum-dum in your diaper. I’m walking at half-speed and pretending loudly that no-one can see me even though it’s broad daylight! Whee!
That doesn’t mean that great stealth isn’t out there. Plenty of games and classes have taken stabs at it, so chances are that at least one or two MMOs have done it really, really right. So throw your opinions on this in the comments today and then use that bag of vanishing powder to make a grand exit.
