Thank you for stream and the con coverage, watched the replay and then gave Warframe a poke for an hour.

I honestly find the game fun but for some reason I always feel really tired after playing it even more so if I venture into a group (which I rarely do). Don’t know what it is about the game and I have never really felt that when playing anything else. Perhaps it is because there is a lot going on but yeah dunno /shrugs

Happens to me too, not every time tho. I find playing with stealth frames more relaxing as it’s much more slower paced (Ivara FTW ;)).

With tank/dps frames … combat is a “bloody battle” on crack and I enjoy every moment of it (till I collapse ;)). And I don’t like grinders at all … go figure.

Much as I love Warframe, it does have many complex systems which aren’t always explained very well ( if at all) to new players and can be easily forgotten if you don’t play often, I don’t know what I’d have done without the excellent !

You’ll get your first flying robot pet when you unlock the junction from Earth to Venus (or can buy a blueprint to make one before then in your ship’s market for credits), and you’ll get a quest to hatch your first doggy pet when you unlock the junction from Venus to Mercury :)

And Frost is a really useful ‘frame to level up, because its snow globe power helps a lot with any missions where you have to defend something from enemy attacks (or just want to shield yourself while turning off an alarm or reviving a downed ally) and its ice ray power can help with missions where you’re chasing a target.

Btw, in addition to being able to change the colours of your ‘frames and weapons in the arsenal, Equipment > Landing Craft > Customize Landing Craft lets you change the colours on the outside of your ship and Equipment > Landing Craft > Customize Interior lets you change the colours on the inside. The starting range of colours is fairly limited (and you have to spend Platinum to buy more) but they sometimes give away new colour palettes, like an Easter themed one a few months ago.
