Check out the character creation options for Black Desert’s upcoming Mystic class
As it has always gone with Black Desert, there’s another new class coming to the game dubbed the Mystic, meant to function as the female equivalent of the male-only Striker class. (This is apparently easier than just making one class open to both genders.) There’s a full gallery of screenshots and a teaser trailer down below; the Mystic herself is supposed to be an orphaned girl from Calpheon who was taken in and trained in the Far East, only to journey back when her male sparring partner (i.e., the Striker) headed back.

You can also check out character creation screenshots and video courtesy of Dulfy. The video is just below and shows off the options available, from character build (very skinny to “slightly thicker Michelle Rodriguez”), muscles (waifish girl to a waifish girl with the hint of abs covered in enough baby oil to slide on sandpaper), and hair (high ponytails and cute pixie cuts rule the day). Between that and the class trailer/screenshots down below, it might be hard to wait for your punch-happy lady character, but at least you’ll know how you want her to look.

Black Desert Online: MYSTIC NEW STRIKER CLASS (COMING SOON :D)The trailer focuses on the highly anticipated brand new class being introduced in BDO, the Mystic. The Mystic has 14 pre-Awakening skills that can have Skill add-ons. The skills are similar to those of the Striker. Although the two classes share many skills, some skills are exclusive to the Mystic.

You can make anything you want! As long as its human.

As much as I really enjoyed myself here, I’ve found myself recently returning to ESO. BDO is a great game that, not unlike Archeage, is being ruined by a community growing more toxic by the day. BDO was really a roleplayers dream, big open world, awesome character creator, everything you could ever want… except of course, for a larger community of bored trolls who have decided to make their “end game” driving roleplayers out of BDO. Petitions have been sent, forum posts have been made (and locked with no explanation) and the problem still persists. So, while the mystic really looks great, it’s going into a game where my presence is not valued, quite the opposite actually. So, I will put my time and money back into a game where my particular demographic of player is valued.

How are they doing that? I haven’t experienced anything like that.

Isn’t this just the female version of the Striker?

God, I love this game. The combat is fun in every class (except Berserker)! There is definitely a lot to do in the game. RNG is the worst thing about it by far.

I was a heavy supporter of it being Game of the Year 2016, and I believe it deserves to win 2017 as well, due to the rapid content updates, support, generosity, lack of train-wreck fiascos and general good management.

love the combat and animations of this game, just wish I could like it more than a combat simulator

I thought there would be a lot more options.
Very good compared to most MMO’s.
Nothing close to Second Life.

Well, the avatar creator actually has a learning curve. It’s possible to do some amazing things, but it takes patience, even practice. Truly SL has by far the most sliders of all, something like 150 of them. But those avatars are 1000×1000 pixel resolution, the ones in BDO are much higher, especially in the builder program. All that being said, I certainly revere SL’s builder. You can even create your own skins and upload them (I have done this once, tried having a “Star Avatar” business in-game, but it never really took off – probably because my efforts weren’t stellar, lol)

All very true. I do not know what the resolution is in BDO, or what the bone sturcture is. Bento has brought a new level to Second Life.

Mesh avatars too. Now hands and feet actually look good!

I learned that you don’t use any Shine in the avatar builder, because the game client itself applies some. One exception is you might add just a hint of it on the Hair and eyes settings – but very little.
