Let’s not lie among ourselves: We all enjoy showing off to others in-game. About half of the reason why we spend so much time acquiring and accessorizing our outfits is in the hopes that others will get whiplash when they see us passing in the street. “Who was that fabulous Dwarf?” they exclaim.
Every once in a while, someone might send me a tell letting me know that they really like my outfit, and it really does make my day. Hopefully not because my ego is so tied up playing virtual dollhouse and more because of the effort I put into mix-and-matching a striking and exciting ensemble.
