The test realm for Overwatch is going to get trashed. The latest test realm patch is bringing players to Junkertown for a new escort mission as well as introducing major balance changes for Mercy and D. Va. The former is getting a single-target Resurrect and a new Ultimate, while everyone’s favorite Korean mech pilot gets new missiles and more firing options while her Defense Matrix gets a bit less constant. There are also smaller balance changes and bug fixes, as always.
Meanwhile, the game has launched a reporting system for console players at long last, with the report mechanics working much as they do for PC players. That’s not to say that the current report system is working out wonderfully, as director Jeff Kaplan addressed on the forums, so changes are incoming to make the penalties for those reported more severe. The irony of reporting someone for being a trashy player in Junkertown, of course, has not yet been fully gauged.
