Daybreak would like you to consider becoming an unpaid volunteer

Volunteer work is all well and good when it’s for a worthy cause, but what about when it comes to donating your time to helping a company succeed? It’s up to you to decide whether or not you’re being taken advantage of, but in these situations, the company is usually coming out ahead in the deal.

And so it seems with Daybreak Game Company, which is recruiting loyal fans to join its Daybreak Insider Program. By any other name, it’s taking up an unpaid gig doing QA testing and filling out feedback forms. While Daybreak isn’t going to dole out a salary for your efforts, the studio is dangling in-game loot, gift cards, and behind-the-scenes access as potential incentives for participating.

“Want to help us improve our games by giving us feedback?” the studio asked. “We are always looking for players, local or remote, to play our games, answer surveys, take part in interviews, and give us valuable input to help improve gameplay experiences.”
