WRUP: Is this what I wanted edition

Race!

So, for a very long time, I was one of the people crying out for making some of the many racial variants in Azeroth playable. It just makes sense. Now, World of Warcraft has added them… or is going to add them. Some of them. Some of the ones I don’t even particularly want, and some of the ones I’ve wanted for a long while. (And at least one that I never thought I wanted.) They’ve got new class matrices, they have different customization, they have a whole lot of different traits.

Is this what I wanted? I don’t know. It’s not quite what I wanted. But it’s close enough to what I wanted, right? I think I’m getting what I want. This isn’t like Demon Hunters, which I never really wanted until they were right here. But it’s also a weird feeling where I’m pretty sure this is what I wanted, except not entirely sure. I don’t know. Muse about it in What Are You Playing comments, why not?

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Probably just a little Pokemon Go and Overwatch this weekend. Events may be over, but PoGo was actually a bit better thanks to the event, and Overwatch reminded me that it can be fun when I’m not thinking about boxes and competitive modes so much (but it is hard to give up my Doomfist practice when we’re clearly losing due to lack of healers and tanks).

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): I will be lucky to play anything; I’m playing stage manager for Eliot’s one-man BlizzCon show. But if I do, it’ll be the usual: Guild Wars 2, maybe Trove, potentially Ultima Online. Also my just Pixel shipped as I type this, four days early. Ahhhhh! So yep next week I’ll be playing the new phone game!

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Oh, BlizzCon, you fill me with feelings. But I’m not going back to WoW, because this expansion is a year away at least and I’ve got things to do in Final Fantasy XIV and Secret World Legends.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): With BlizzCon a-buzzing and my Warlock finally at 110, chances are pretty good I’ll be playing some World of Warcraft. I’d also like to get in some time with Dungeons & Dragons Online (need to finish up the Harbor!) and Lord of the Rings Online before the weekend is through.

Your turn!
