Soulworker Online delays open beta to 2018

These cel shaded warriors are going to have to wait a little while longer to romp around in the apocalypse.

Soulworker Online announced last week that it is delaying the North American open beta, which was originally supposed to take place by the end of this year. The new target window? The first quarter of 2018, so it’s not as though we have a long time to wait.

“This commitment to quality and the best player experience also means we have to postpone the open beta to Q1 2018,” the team posted. “We had hoped to finish a number of tasks faster, but in the end we rather invest more time and money to make Soulworker an even better game than rushing it out of the door in a less than perfect state.”

It’s not the end of the world (yet); Steparu shared some gameplay footage that should tide you over until this game becomes available here, as it’s hit beta in Korea already. Check it out below!

Just play the private server , everything is there from the korean version , and no stamina. Plus higher XP rates and drops.

probably for the best – having it in december would compete directly with closers opening up.

while they’re different sorts of games somewhat, there’ll still be a lot of overlap in audience.

Beware: the first video is from the mobile version which is *not* the version which was delayed. Here a video from the PC version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFrVkGDdSTU
