Final Fantasy XIV’s Stormblood blood drive
This is the genre that literally spawned the transmedia synergy meme, but this is easily one of the best: As part of its Stormblood hoopla, Square-Enix partnered with the Red Cross to ask E3 attendees to donate blood, complete with a Stormblood-themed bloodmobile on site at the convention.
A ridiculous pun and a ridiculously good cause. Nothin’ better.
