PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds aims to be on every platform, but PS4 will take a while

There’s no escaping it. There’s no denying it. And soon, there will be no avoiding it.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is already out for PC and Xbox One, but its studio isn’t content to stick with just that. In fact, the eventual goal, according to PUBG Corp’s CEO, is to bring the game to all platforms, everywhere. It just might take a little while to make this a reality.

“We’d like to focus on completing the Xbox One PUBG for now,” said Chang Han Kim. If we have the opportunity, the final goal would be to launch the title on every platform.”

The next obvious step is to bring the newly released title to the PlayStation 4, but apparently Sony’s higher standards means that the studio must get the game up to par for consoles before this can happen. While PC and Xbox offer early access versions of games, Sony has yet to dip into this area.
