Antaria Online is the small and quirky MMO to brighten your day

Looking for a relaxing, colorful, and winsome MMORPG to while away the dark winter nights? You might want to check out Antaria Online, a cute fantasy MMO that’s in development for a 2019 release.

Currently in playable alpha, Antaria is a cross-platform title that primarily takes place on a tropical island. Players start as Adventurers, but can unlock and change over to different classes as their journeys continue. The whole game is rather small right now, with only two classes, four zones, a player market, basic chat, and no grouping, although the developers will be adding to it as time progresses.

We’ve got a couple of gameplay videos for you below, and if it piques your interest, you should know that the game is currently a bank-breaking $0.49 on Steam.

Holy crap, this game looks amazing.

The combat looks too engaging.
And the quests! They feel rich with life.

I mean I could literally play this for seconds at a time I bet. Can’t wait to pick it up. I hope all mmos can follow in the footsteps of this amazing experience!

@silverlock
But this is a incorrect fact. Average people online is 40. There are more of us on Kongregate, where the game is for free ( but you dont get the gem bonus there )

The Kongregate players play on different servers don’t they?

No, thats not true. There is only one server, some ppl play throught Steam and some throught Kongregate. The playerbase is growing and currently its 60+ ppl online.

According to steamdb the sale ended on the 4th, and $1.99 is the new base price when it came out it was $4.99.

Seems it’s only averaging 8 players online right now so you might want to keep that in mind to.

whoops this was supposed to be a reply to Mewmew.

It’s not .49 cents it’s 1.99 :P Either a sale ended today on the same day you posted this, or the price was raised after an article was written that pointed it out. Hopefully and probably it was a sale ending. The Winter Sale ended yesterday though. It’s not that 1.99 is much money, it’s just I saw it was .49 cents and ran to get it and it’s 1.99 :D

Same here. I’d be curious to know if it was a sale or not, because that will decide whether I buy it at the current price. If it was on sale and I missed it, fair enough, if it’s a hike due to media coverage, I’d rather steer clear of that kind of developer.

Following up on my comment, it was a sale for 0.49, and the regular price looks like it used to be $5. So I’m gonna go get it for $1.99.

It’s cute, but for such a whimsical game there is sure a lot of killing creatures that are just standing there minding their own business. ;)
