Monster Hunter World shares the making of its game and multiplayer features

We are just a couple of short days away from the launch of Monster Hunter World on January 26th (at least for consoles), and excitement over this latest chapter in the popular big beastie slayer franchise is definitely high.

As part of the launch week frenzy, Capcom released a video documenting the making of the game. According to the press release, this video “examines how the project started and what inspired the vision behind bringing the living, breathing world of Monster Hunter to life on home consoles.”

It might also be prudent for players to give the day one patch notes a look over. This update will add several online features, such as multiplayer functionality, events, more languages, and chat. It also includes something called “Poogies” and we really don’t want to know more than that. “Get the Poogie to warm up to you by petting it in just the right way!” Seriously, patch notes, we just said we didn’t want to know more.
