Digital Extremes put out a bounty on the heads of these “repugnant” and “gruesome” ghouls this week, sending Warframe’s Xbox One and PlayStation Four players into mortal peril on the Plains of Eidolon. There are four types of ghouls to encounter, such as a buzz saw-wielding Rictus Ghoul and an exploding Expired Ghoul.
While hunting around on the Plains, players will occasionally receive a Ghoul Alert that warns them of a danger spot. To help fight off these incursions, Warframe is tossing in several new weapons, such as the Corinth shotgun, Gunsen razor fan, and Stubba uzi. The console update also adds the weather system, personal quarters, and Focus 2.5 improvements that PC players have enjoyed for weeks now.
