I have all the reps done but honestly I don’t see the point in preordering yet. The new races don’t really offer any major changes. While the free 110 would be nice I only have pally, shaman, and rogue left to get to 110 so it’s not a huge incentive to preorder.

i will buy the xpac after i see what exactly has changed this xpac, or when it eventually goes on sale. Or if its mandatory to have to when the Classic server is available, thats what im really looking forward the Classic Server, WoW lost his magic, to me After WotLK, and its simplification of everything

My preordering will be based on getting the allied races, and right now I don’t have the prereq’s done as I haven’t played in a while. So when that’s done, I’ll preorder.

Not yet. There’s no point.

I probably would play this on the side of the classic servers but only if it requires buying the Battle for Azeroth to play them

I enjoyed my time in World of Warcraft, but that time is now in the past.

I am grateful for the many hours of fun I had and the friendships that I built.

Every time I have interacted with players in WoW, it has been overwhelmingly toxic and unwelcoming. Never going back since there are plenty of other games whose communities are more than willing to welcome players. In case people think this was a limited amount of time, six months of subbing, and one of the most unpleasant games to be a healer in.

one of the most unpleasant games to be a healer in.

It used to be a great game to heal in, but not in Legion. Amazingly toxic for healers not in a guild.

Yeah, I know some folks who were about to quit (not just WoW but other games as well) until they found a guild that was large enough and friendly enough to fit them in. Healers have it especially rough in these games where hardcore PUGs expect everyone to know everything and be ready to speedrun through. I enjoy healing but don’t enjoy games like WoW for that reason.

That’s my biggest annoyance since coming back to WoW. I like being a healer, unfortunately my play time doesn’t allow for me being in an active guild anymore.

Being a Paladin, and therefore basically the slowest runner in any group, and LFG people that will not slow down for any reason at all, even if it kills them…is beyond frustrating.

The Legion expansion was OK, but it shifted the game away from the more solo-friendly WoD (which I really considered WoW’s best expansion) into something less appealing for me. From what I understand, BfA takes away even more of the features that I liked from WoD and Legion and focuses (still more) on dungeon/raid group content and PvP, neither of which interest me at all.

I am not ruling out a return to WoW at some point, but BfA is definitely not worth returning to WoW for. Other MMOs accommodate my playing style better than WoW these days (Neverwinter, at the moment), so that’s where I’ll be.

I am trying to be interested because this will be the second expac I’ll skip but nothing is getting me excited to buy it.
No new class.
No new races. Just reskinned versions of old races locked behind the “blizzard approved fun” rep grind.
Level scaling that only scales the old world to 60. They totally messed that up. I would have bought the expac if the whole world was scaled to max level like ESO one tamriel.
Yet another weapon/item to grind that will be tossed out next expac.
And I am tired of everything, including content, locked behind rep grinds or rng.

I was going to pre-order but I have been put off by the alliance grind for the new races having spent over month grinding rep for flying in Legion I just can not face more senseless grind to unlock the races, sick to death and burnt out with rep grinds!

Why they can not be put behind some nice quest storylines with cut scenes and which are fun god only knows.

You know why. They need to stretch the existing content for 6+ months.

The version I want isn’t available yet, so nope.
