We’re sorry to inform you that the video of Path of Exile below is all stuff that you’re not getting today. Or tomorrow. In fact, the developers have no idea when you’re getting it. The point is that you will get it at some point, because it’s a bunch of graphical improvements to the game that will make it look better without impacting performance.

It’s a brief video, but boy, it does look good. And it also should make it easier to see what’s going on around you and not make the game run more poorly in the process. All of this is good stuff. But the question of when you will get access to any of it is… well, up in the air. At some point in the future.

Is there any build for this game yet that’s as effective as a dual totem build that ISN’T dual totems? Totem builds bore me to tears but everything else I tried just doesn’t even come close to how cheap and effective a totem build is, so I just quit playing. I have no idea why they’d make the most boring gameplay in the world the most effective… drop 2 totems and run away… drop 2 totems and run away… repeat ad nauseam and get your loot… Zzzzzz..

This doesn’t matter much to me when I crash once an hour due to the multithread crash and my screen is usually full of skill effects because why not?

I like the rain / water effect but then I have always been a sucker for good water effects and we are now starting to get really good water effect (Sea of Thieves for example). The transparency bubble um for me might take a bit of getting used to but I can see a lot of folks liking that too.

I don’t like the transparency bubble. I like the idea of a constricting forest and not being able to see everything.

Totally agree. You should not be able to see through the trees. I don’t understand why there is no talk of rollout – they are usually pretty transparent.
