Trion is delaying the name reclaim game in RIFT

[AL:Rift]In RIFT, your name in the game can be a pain to retain. Especially when the developers plain to reclaim a big chunk of older names, something scheduled for February 14th. But there’s good news if you didn’t have a chance to lock the name in, as it turns out the developers have postponed the name reclamation for a later date.

Why? Apparently it’s just a scheduling issue, with the previously announced date not working well for the five to six hours of downtime required. Players will be notified in advance of the new date, so you have a little more time to make sure that your name remains yours in the future.

Hello all! The Name Reclaim/Release will NOT go forward tomorrow, Feb 14. It has been postponed so that we can better schedule the 5-6 hour downtime required. We'll let you know as soon as a new date is set! [Brasse]
