Age of Conan’s saga server shares class distribution chart

If you’ve rolled up a Dark Templar on Age of Conan’s newish saga server, then just know that you’re not alone. At level 80, the class is the most popular of the dozen options available for players.

Funcom shared a pie chart (the tastiest type of charts) of the level 80 class distribution on the server. There’s quite a range between the most and least popular classes, with a handful (Dark Templar, Conqueror, Tempest of Set, and Demonologist) taking over 43% of the roster. If you’re looking for an underdog to pick, the Ranger (4.43%) or Guardian (5.54%) will put you among rare company.

And while we’re on the subject of the saga server, Funcom announced that the Ivory Tower guild gets the honor of attaining a server first kill of Ethram Fal. Congrats!

It’s a hard thing to ignore when you play the game. Funcom has this thing about massive, set-apart, pendulous breasts.
TSW had it too and it was comical, you’d be talking to a character whose head model/texture and voice were an elderly woman, but the body and massive jutting bosoms of Kate Upton. I don’t think that’s how it works in real life?

That’s a nearly perfect spread amongst the classes, as MMOs go. They’ve done something right here.

Dark Templar is one of the funnest classes I’ve ever played in an MMO. I got a lot of mileage out of it mechanically and for RP purposes. I’m always tempted to return to AoC and see what the RP scene is like. Or if it still exists.

Argh, they didn’t match names/colors up at all! List the most populated class at the top and then from there move either clockwise or counter-clockwise so that it’s easy to see which color corresponds to which class.

Clicking on the link they basically did that below, but even then the slots on the pie chart are all over.

I don’t know why, but I’m unreasonably bothered by this.

it’s alphabetical, going clockwise.

i feel like the extremely limited palette they used contributes to it being hard to follow. (four blues, seriously? make somebody pink geez.)
