Impressive!
First Guild Wars 2, now Elder Scrolls Online: It’s heist week in MMORPGs. ZeniMax announced this morning that it’s repromoting the shadowy corners of its game introduced in the veteran Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood DLC. Both DLC and their associated bundles are super cheap right now, with double rewards for all kinds of activities in-DLC and out, including heists, sacraments, crafting nodes, and boss-whupping across the spectrum – all in Hew’s Bane and the Gold Coast.

“Get the crew together. It’s time for one last job… or maybe three or four! Return to Hew’s Bane and the Gold Coast during our Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood Celebration Event to earn bonus rewards for Sacraments, Heists, World Bosses, and more. There’s never been a better time to be bad!”

The events (and sales) are live now and run through March 12th. Still on the fence? (Pun intended.) Check out Larry and me sneaking around as noobkin thieves (and completely sucking at lockpicks) back in 2016 when the DLC first launched.

Been waiting for a sale on some DLC not that I really need it since as little as I play I’ve still tons of things to do but I rather have it ready to play at a sale price.

Thanks for the tip. From so many times trying since launch i’m finally into eso.. (turned out to be the nightblade class that couldn’t possibly be fun right? turns out its the ONLY fun class).

I just finished the main orsinium dlc.. gotta say the writing in eso is probably better than witcher 3. The experience doesn’t have epic cinematics but the story arc from start to finish finally beat KOTOR1 as one of the best stories in video games and has happily wiped bioware out of memory. Jaw dropped at how good the narrative in eso is. Sure replayability is zero but its worth it for the first time.

ESO definitely has an not exactly fair / whaling business model when its for not on sale (go see exactly what you can afford with those super generous free crowns) but at least the content stands up so you can argue its worth it. Relative to everything else at least.

Thanks for the heads up, for some reason I never get this kind of news from the official forum even if I visit daily.
Sadly I already have those 2 DLC and I don’t feel like grinding for motifs or mats anymore so I’ll pass.

Thanks for the announcement. I think I will subscribe for a month and use the crowns to get both DLC.
