Dreadnought lets you set up custom games with friends on the PS4

Starship captains get lonely in the inky black void of space and seek companionship amongst their own. When SpaceTinder fails, the next best thing is the ability to create custom PvP matches among friends.

Thankfully, these custom matches are here for Dreadnought, at least on the PlayStation 4. The spaceship battler pushed live a patch that allows players to create a match based on the options they choose, including lopsided scenarios and AI assistance. To keep players from gaming this system for rewards, no XP, progression, or credits can be earned in this mode.

The dev team continues to juggle both the PC and PS4 versions of the game. While the two versions are not in sync right now, the studio is working hard to bring them to near-parity in the future — and yes, this includes trying to get custom matches brought to the PC.
