Ideally a customer should have the option to choose whether to redo achievements or any grind involving an alt or simply punch a button and bring that alt up to speed with any current main character, minus any expensive loot that could be exploited.

This goes for any game.

Anything that requires mega grind and brainless repetition to ‘unlock’. And make it so that all eligible alts can contribute too, like with the WoW sub-race unlocks.

Nothing

I’m not a fan of account-wide sharing, to me that defeats a core part of the “RPG” aspect of this genre. If I grind out rep on one character, why would it make sense to automatically unlock that rep on another? If they did it in some sort of lore-appropriate way then I’d be fine with it.

That said, I hate cash shops and don’t play games with them in, so I can appreciate you guys wanting cash-shop items to be account wide (and I’d agree, anything to reduce the price of shit in cash shops is good). I’d just rather there wasn’t a cash shop in the first place. Also, I am of the opinion that if something requires so much grinding that you feel the reward should be shared across your account, chances are the content you were grinding has been poorly designed, so again, I’d rather the content was designed properly in the first place.

Anything grindy can be considered poorly designed content if we go by that logic. Most players don’t bother doing it on more than one toon.

If I had my go of it I would make just about everything account wide. You already earned it why should you earn it again and again and again? I would probably treat leveling like Guildwars 1 and have everything else account wide. Wallet, mounts, cosmetics.

Cash shop purchases and game systems where characters share. Each character should earn everything on its own.

I dislike most all grinding as it seems like poorly disguised chores. But most of all I dislike rep grinding.

Generally, I would say anything that takes time rather than skill to achieve should be account-wide but I would imagine there are some exceptions to that though.

Absolutely all cash-shop purchases, storage, achievements and unlocks. In addition, xp should be recyclable and transferable between characters on an account. If I delete a character then I should not lose the experience accrued to that character because that xp represents my time and my effort.
