tbh it feels like a hell of allot longer than 4 years, wow!

HB ESO, you turned a steaming pile of sh!t into a really decent game in that time.

Four years and the game has evolved into one of the best modern MMO’s.

Story driven and immersive consistent content roll out, a development team who listens and acts on player feedback, subscription or à la carte payment models, an in game store which only provides cosmetics and consumables and with little impact the in game economy, the ability to always play with your friends regardless of level, chat bubbles, sitting in chairs, player housing, stealth game play, relevant crafting, siege warfare on a massive level which works, the ability for your character to constantly evolve and learn new skills and abilities….

There is so much to love about this game. Happy 4th Birthday ESO!

I don’t play it much or at all anymore, still subbed in case i get an itch, but yea completely agree.

Update 12? the level syncing update; literally saved the game for me but at the same time kinda made the game super boring to me, i ended up really missing you know the entire point of gaming; level up, get better, do more… of mmo’s.

Woohoo i got new gear! big woop it means nothing, it all scales to easy everywhere you go, the explorer in me could not be happier, but the incentive, carrots to get better are literally gone, void, so what’s the point? out side of stories.

Enter SOTA i’m dungeon crawling and i get to apart where i’m literally running for my fucking life, not going in there for a while, i have to level up, get better, so i can do more or get a party together and do it, oh my! For how unpolished sota is; it’s (to me) by far a much superior mmorpg.

I’m not trashing eso it’s a good game, and talk about a turn around from launch, kudos.
