Elder Scrolls Online’s Wolfhunter DLC enters player testing as the free-play event begins

We’re barreling down a pretty short road toward Elder Scrolls Online’s next DLC. As announced just a month ago at E3, Wolfhunter is indeed a werewolf-themed pack that features two dungeons alongside the goodies of update 19, including a semi-symmetrical battleground map called Istirus Outpost, keep recall stones in alliance PvP, an improved respec system, and better werewolf skills.

As of this week, the Wolfhunter DLC and the concomitant update 19 have landed on the public test server, meaning you can get in there and check everything out. Worth noting is that the champion point cap is lifting, there are indeed some class tweaks as promised, and there are two new houses coming:

Hunter’s Glade: An underground entrance way leads through a portal to an expansive forested glade in Hircine’s Oblivion realm of The Hunting Grounds. Those “blessed” with lycanthropy can maintain werewolf form indefinitely in this otherworldly wilderness.

Grand Psijic Villa: When Artaeum was “removed” from Tamriel, a few neighboring isles went with it, including the site of the Grand Psijic Villa, a monumental estate with magnificent views of the south coast of the main island.

Starting today, ZeniMax is also kicking off a free-play week, so you can come check out pretty much everything but Summerset right now for nothing, and even if you’re already paying something, you can log in and pick up some free lockboxes.

Have they fixed the clunky, unresponsive combat yet?

the champion point cap is lifting

I have enough CP to meet the lift, but this is broken. Game is already easy as it is, why more power creep and so fast?

Logged in tonight but there didn’t seem to be access to the clock work city as promised on their web page .

Clockwork City should be free anyway. You need to complete a quest to access that.

Its OK I asked a guild I am in and they told me how to activate the eso plus event via the game store .

Its not very intuitive I saw quite a number of people asking in zone chat and many of my guild mates didn’t even know the event was on until I brought up the subject .
