WRUP: Introducing the Not-even-good-at-one-formers edition

What's that box

Introducing the hottest toy line to debut near SDCC (not at, we don’t have money for a booth there), it’s the Not-even-good-at-one-formers! They’re less, significantly less than meets the eye! Featuring the heroic No-knee-bots against the evil forces of the Separate-parts-bolted-together-icons!

Children and adults with the minds of particularly slow children will enjoy trying to make these toys change from their default form of A Dude With Vehicle Bits On Him to A Dude With Vehicle Bits On Him Lying On His Back And With An Unconvincing Mask On! Both forms are poorly painted and feature bad paint applications, shoddy stickers, and gimmicks that snap off in your hand!

Collect all of your favorite characters like Optional Pilsner, Bormblebrew, Sideswept, Mortgage-tron, Storescam, and The Tape Deck Dude! Let us know how you’re looking forward to it down in the comments, or just let us know What Are You Playing if you’d rather.

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): No surprise on Pokemon Go, right? Unlike Articuno day, I actually get to do Zapdos day with my local group, so I’m looking forward to it. I’m also going to try to squeeze in some Splatoon 2 on the Octoling side (I haven’t unlocked mine yet, so I figured I’d side with the less delicious cephalopod). There’s another game I’ll be hitting up, but you’ll have to wait and hear about it next week!

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): So this week I’ve gotten into a new-to-me Star Wars Galaxies emulator – this one’s Legends, an NGE emu, and it’s reaaaallly different from the regular pre-CU emu I’ve played so much in the past. I’m kinda liking it but finding starting out as a true newbie much harder than pre-CU, especially in a slim economy. Not sure how long I’ll stick with it, but I’m intrigued.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): After a surprise gift from a friend simply giving me a Nintendo Switch (not as a present for anything, just a random nice gift), I’ve been making my way through Octopath Traveler and enjoying it thoroughly. I will, however, take care of my usual tasks in Final Fantasy XIV and Granblue Fantasy, as well as cleaning up some pre-patch odds and ends in World of Warcraft.

Justin Olivetti (@Sypster, blog): The new legacy loot mode for World of Warcraft has made running retro dungeons more beneficial for transmog hunting, although I may be spending some time working on a new Shammy. Other than that, I’d love to get some time in with Lord of the Rings Online and perhaps Star Trek Online.

Your turn!
