Here we go again.
ZeniMax is dropping some good stuff at QuakeCon for players of The Elder Scrolls Online. If you’re a dedicated subscriber, you’re in for some welcome tweaks to the way the sub package works beginning later this year, in addition to some sort of “in-game community event related to Summerset.”

“With the release of Murkmire, members will now get 1650 crowns per month, and access to exclusive offers in the #ESO Crown Store including a free item every month,” the team just announced. “Watch for more details this fall!”

Also released today? The official trailer for the Wolfhunter DLC itself, which is slated to launch next week on PC.

Even better, there’s a new trailer for the Murkmire DLC, which is expected to feature the Argonians’ province later this fall.

The game is currently in the middle of a free-play week, and its most recent chapter, Summerset, is currently on sale.

Oh Murkmire looks intriguing! That new lizard mount if available might even convince my argonian to replace his beloved guar…

Well, I guess an extra 10% is an. extra 10% I guess. They could make it more attractive on the lines of the crafting bag. By that I mean bags for siege weapons and disguises.

Oh yes, social and disguise clothes pack/satchel! I wish we could use the social clothes ESO has as costume instead of replacing the armor too. Much overlooked feature I think as they are only theft based available. But I have a full closet with disguises and social cloth shoes and gloves and all kinds of tops and bottoms.

I am not triggered. I am just unsure as to why you are acting as if you were angry when a company is giving customers more for their money.

What gave you the idea I was angry? Personally, i think it’s great or they’re forshadowing an increase in shop item cost. Or are you just youmadbro?ing me?

Furthermore, sorry to burst your bubble but companies rarely if ever do this kind of stuff out of charity. It’s cute that you’re still wide eyed and innocent to the world but I highly doubt zeni is just giving away more crowns because of funsies.

I don’t think they did it out of charity. I just didn’t understand you apparent anger and your snarky reply. Now of course I understand that you are just trolling and will ignore your replies as you are clearly just trying to get a rise out of people and have no intention of having a civil discussion.

To be frank if anybody is trolling it’s you. I’ve given reasonable rationale for my take on the article. You’ve had nothing but emotional outbursts and unfounded accusations about my temperament.

Seriously, nothing I have said is trolling. I suggest you look up the definition.

It’s because they know BFA will pull half their players back to WoW for a while. Everyone is trying to prevent the WoW defection

Isn’t the sub bump coming with murkmire? Bfa releases aug 14.

Chosenxeno .

I don’t think WoW has the pull it used to have. Especially if your game is actually good, which ESO is. All the “vacationers” went to games like Bless or to see what the big deal was with BDO. I don’t think ESO will get hit that hard. Usually Zone Chat tells you how things are gonna go. I’ve only seen 1 WoW convo in Zone in the month and a half I’ve been playing.

Huh guess people aren’t subbing and throwing money at them hand over first like they say…

Where are you getting that idea?

“With the release of Murkmire, members will now get 1650 crowns per month, and access to exclusive offers in the #ESO Crown Store including a free item every month,”

Usually companies don’t have a reason to make a product have extra incentive unless they product isn’t selling well.

Trying to increase the number of subscribers hardly proves they are lying and certainly doesn’t deserve your snarky reply to the article

You’re right. While other companies ie blizzard increased the sub cost in certain regions during known highly successful times. Eso is increasing its rewards and value. Seems backwards to me but go ahead and be triggered.

Blizzard is only 1 company, and as far as i can tell only 1 Blizzard game has subs, and even that one doesn’t have them in some regions.

Maybe Blizz is struggling because OW was on sale a while back?

That’s a pretty absurd idea regardless of how well or badly ESO is doing.

Chosenxeno .

They just continue to have the worst Sub in the Genre. It is the only one that isn’t incentivized and what’s worse they don’t have a way to earn their CASH SHOP items at all. You should be criticizing that instead of offering criticism of a Developer that actual provides VALUE BEYOND ACCESS in their Subscription.

It is really full since a few weeks, very noticeable even during the work week at odd times.
