Strawberry fields forever.

While not every MMO has one, mascots are an interesting phenomenon that some developers promote and communities latch onto during their time with the game. These mascots are adorable, popular critters, animals, or NPCs that seize the public’s interest and make for a fun face of the game.

The deep, contemplative question that I put before you today is, which MMO has the most adorable and best overall mascot? I can think of several off the top of my head, such as WildStar’s Rowsdowers, World of Warcraft’s Murlocs, Dungeons and Dragons Online’s Kobolds, and Guild Wars 2’s Quaggan, although there are plenty more out there.

Give us your opinion and let’s have an epic fight in the comments to see which mascot will be the last critter standing!

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
