Tell me lies
If you just skimmed through Guild Wars 2’s living world season 4 episode 4 announcement video yesterday, fixated on the new zone and personal instance, you may have missed the reference to the new legendary scepter that’s had hardcore GW2 players buzzing for the last day and a half. It’s called Xiuquatl, and it’s gorgeous all on its own.

But Guild Wars 2 clarified today that the scepter isn’t alone. More specifically, you won’t be alone while wielding it.

Yep, that minipet/critter flapping along behind the wielder in the new trailer is actually part of the weapon itself. I’m getting major flashbacks to my World of Warcraft Hunter’s old wind serpent pet!

Bonus: The darn thing is apparently turning out to be really hard for people to spell.

And finally, a Guild Wars 2 post today just wouldn’t be right without mentioning this.
