If you weren’t already aware, we like lists of 10 around here. So we’re pleased by the format Wizard101 chose to use in revealing 10 facts you might not know about the game’s development. We are also pleased at the actual content of those facts, like the fact that the game wasn’t originally intended to be an MMO at all; it was meant to be a real card game, and development and talent both pulled in different directions.

Even if you’re not an avid fan of the game, the facts are pretty amusing, like how the game’s boat rides are “faked” by having the world move around you instead of building a moving boat. It was also meant to run on older machines and be accessible for multiple ages, a design philosophy you can see in the game right now. Check out the full list if you’re eager to learn a little more about the game’s history and development at once.
