‘Shave, bathe, or don’t – it’s up to you’: Red Dead Redemption 2’s latest gameplay trailer arrives

Rockstar’s just pushed live the second of its teasery Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay videos, this one filled with gunfights, explosions, and a promise of serious choices.

MMO players in particular ought to be paying more and more attention to this one since just a few weeks back Rockstar confirmed that RDR2 will have an online version, Red Dead Online, akin to GTAO. Multiplayer hits beta next month, but of course, the official single-player edition rolls out to PC and console this month on October 26th. Hype.

The video is below!

No PC port on initial launch, which diminishes my interest at this time

also, if you’ve played GTAO on a PC you’ll notice that RockStar isn’t really very good at dealing with hack/mod issues

when it does release to PC I look forward to having a campfire added to my belly, being turned into livestock, and getting RDR2$ dropped at my feet

Damn, that looks good. I don’t see any indication on their website that it’ll be available on PC, but if it does ever arrive, I’ll probably buy it.

“Shave, bathe, or don’t – it’s up to you”

I suppose it could be worse… :(

I can’t wait for this. In fact, I bought a second PS4 so I could play it (we’re mainly MMO gamers, so we just have one console in the house). I saw someone sneer and call it “a horse riding sim” in a comment somewhere and I was like “Oh, hell yeah. It’s worth it just for that.” :D

I’m not seeing a mention of a PC release in this trailer. It says PS4 and XBox One only.
I can’t find an official confirmation from Rockstar that it will be available on PC.

That being said, GTA:O is an amazing game to team up with friends and explore. As long as RDR2 has a private lobby and eventually makes its way to PC, it will be hard to resist.

If I remember correctly, doesn’t Rockstar release on PC much later than the consoles? Red Dead 2 may be suffering from the same thing :(

Usually, yes. Which is why I posted this comment because the article says it releases on PC and Console on the 26th.

Yeah there is nothing about a PC date anywhere. Me thinks Bree mistakenly wrote that it was coming out on PC in this article.

I am simply not ready for this game to consume my life. But I am sooooo ready to be a digital cowboy and do very bad things for money.

My cowboy never kills for money. My cowboy just kills for pleasure.

There going to be a Stink-o-meter on the screen or something? LOL

I’d imagine the KCD approach: your clothes will become soiled and NPC disposition towards you will change. And it might even influence your stealth ability. ;)
