The Witching Hour strikes in DC Universe Online, bringing Halloween festivities to the many heroes and villains of Gotham, Metropolis, and beyond. The event, which began earlier this week on October 1st, and will run until the big day itself, October 31st, introduces new activities, feats, and items all themed around the spookiest time of the year.
While The Witching Hour is running, players can take part in The Midnight Masquerade seasonal alert, which sends players to Gotham City, where there’s something strange in the neighborhood — at the Midnight Masquerade night club, to be exact, where Klarion the Witch Boy is wreaking havoc, and it’s up to players to put a stop to his shenanigans. The event also introduces four new feats for players to acquire. Completing certain activities during The Witching Hour will earn players Spooky Bites, which can be spent to buy “the latest in scare-wear, tricks, treats, and creepy items” from Skeets’ Boo-tique.
