If you’re still watching to see how Bless Online shapes up come its official launch, you’ll want to pay attention to today’s announcement: Neowiz just revealed on Steam that it’s gunning to launch out of its open beta/early access phase on October 23rd. It’ll also be free-to-play at that point as promised.

Bless Online will be going Free-to-Play, as we believe that model will provide the best experience for all players at official release,” Neowiz says. “We intend to introduce as many people as possible to the feature-complete form of Bless Online.” Existing players who’ve paid into the game with purchased packs will be granted a ton of rewards, including bundles of premium membership; in fact, if you have the original collector’s edition, you’re getting what’s effectively a lifetime sub to the game.

Launching for current players today, however, is yet another update, this one aimed at endgamers. There’s also a Halloween event kicking off complete with themed quests, costumes, and rewards.

“Today we released a new update containing the completely new Patala raid. In it, a party of up to 10 players can enter and test themselves against the 6 bosses contained within the dungeon. Players must be level 45 and have a minimum gear score of 8913 to enter, and can do so once per week. Rewards for defeating the various mid-bosses include Ananta’s Flame, Contorted Wings of the Beyond, Contorted Chain of the Beyond, and the Animosity armor series. Rewards for defeating the final boss of Patala include the Sword Body of Flogas, the Storm weapon series, and new legendary level 45 weapons.”
