Grab a witchy house for completing Elder Scrolls Online’s Halloween events beginning October 18

Just this morning we covered Elder Scrolls Online’s new Indrik mount event reward, which requires players to play a bit in all four of the game’s upcoming seasonal events and collect feathers in each. As it turns out, the first of these events is slated for the run-up to Halloween, and it’s starting up on October 18th, according to a new post ZeniMax put up today.

“The Witches Festival kicks off at 10:00AM EDT on Thursday, October 18 and will run until 10:00AM EDT, Thursday, November 1. During this spoopy event, you can enjoy a 100% XP buff, become an undead monster, and acquire a creepy collection of Witches Festival-themed items. In addition to this, we’re also introducing the brand-new Dremora Plunder Skulls, containing a never-before-seen Motif!”

Like last year’s event, this one reintroduces the Exorcised Coven Cottage home, which you can buy with real cash or with gold, though the latter only if you bust through all the achievements from Halloween. “This home is only available during the Witches Event period, so don’t miss out,” ZeniMax reminds us.

Spoopy?

250k isn’t much at all. If you’re a member of a Trade Guild and just put up stuff you are harvesting, you can make this in a few days. I’ve made more in a single Saturday when focused on harvesting or farming rare motifs.

I just got a free castle so ill just do them for fun. ZeniMax has been giving away a ton of free stuff the last few months.

Warning for anyone looking to get the house with gold through the event…it is NOT cheap!

Like the 250k gold range of not cheap.

They never are :(

Yeah, last year I hoped it might be a little cheaper with all the achievements required. But since they still sell it for crowns, I guess there is not much incentive for them to do that.

Even the crown prices are ridiculous. I can’t bring myself to pay 40 bucks for a decent sized house.

Well they did give 100k out as a daily reward last month, so if you’ve saved a bit it’s definitely doable :D

If not, start doing crafting writs on all your characters asap! xD

250k is easy that’s a week worth of farming while playing the game as long as you have a Trade Guild.
