No real salt from me today: I personally loved Star Wars Galaxies’Â Halloweeny Galactic Moon Festival, as ridiculous as it was, and as I mentioned on the podcast, I’m super grateful to the player devs who brought it back (and enhanced the heck out of it) this year in the Legends emulator. It’s a treat just to see it alive again.
That said? “Ridiculous” is an understatement. One of the rewards SOE put in back in the day was a Stinky the Hutt backpack, which I promptly earned and then put on my husband’s Ithorian Jedi to wear for all eternity because hello, baby Hutt in a backpack.
Y’all who thought merely adding Jedi to SWG was a dealbreaker hadn’t seen anything yet, is what I’m saying.
I definitely don’t think SWG’s was the worst Halloween, especially given some of the cool themed rewards, but it’s certainly pretty silly. What would you say is the worst Halloween event in the MMOverse?
