The MOP Up: Mutant Year Zero breaks down the barriers

I think a lot of us unfamiliar with the IP might be giving Funcom’s upcoming Mutant Year Zero a wary look and a wide berth. But the studio is attempting to break down those barriers to understanding with a dev diary that delivers an overview of the game proper.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a game that combines exploration, stealth, tactical combat, and finding answers,” Funcom said. “The game is based on a Swedish pen-and-paper role-playing game from 2014, set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has almost gone instinct and mutants have risen up to take their place.”

Actually, I have had Mutant on my Steam wishlist for most of this year, but that was a jolt nonetheless to see it here on MassivelyOP. But goooooo Funcom, anyway!

According to the MOP article on this game (Mutant Zero), it will not even have a multiplayer option, much less any MMO chops.

Why put single player game coverage here?

The OP actually stands for Oversize Pigs, as in “Massively Oversize Pigs” so clearly a 2 legged gun toting porcine badass gets lots of coverage.

Also it’s funcom and I think they also gave The Park coverage here (though that also tied in to Secret World).
