Grinding Gear Games’s free-to-play action-RPG Path of Exile has been available on Xbox One for over a year now, but so far PlayStation 4 players have been left out in the cold. It would appear that that may be about to change, however. Gematsu reports that Taiwan’s Digital Game Rating Committee has posted a listing for a PlayStation 4 version of Path of Exile, indicating that the game is bound for Sony’s console sometime soonish.

The listing doesn’t provide a release date or anything of the sort, so there’s really no telling when PS4 players will be able to get their hands on it. In fact, the listing tells us precious little besides the fact that there will in fact be a PS4 port of the game in Taiwan, but it’s probably safe to assume that we’ll see the port in the West as well. For any details beyond that, we’ll just have to wait and see. That and join the excited throngs on Reddit.

I for one welcome more console players to PoE. Just don’t forget who the Master Race is here…..

More the merrier as far as I am concerned. Though I do have one wish for these console ports and that would be to import the controller / ui scheme into the PC version as an option.

Crate Entertainment managed to put a really great controller scheme into their arpg Grim Dawn even though like PoE it too started out as a keyboard and mouse only game. It really makes a big difference to my enjoyment of the game when I play it as well as stopping my hands from hurting.
