I tried Maplestory2 because of this podcast. It’s definitely cute but … holy cutscenes! Every couple of minutes! Take 10 steps, wait to go into an instance. Cutscene. Take 3 steps to leave the instance. Wait. Then 10 more steps to the next cutscene. By level 10 I was so done with the constant cutscenes that I quit and uninstalled! :D
*Haunted by the sound of Justin clearing his throat into the mic* lol
I thought it was a hairball.
From the sound of that.. it could have been a WHOLE cat lol
Howdy all!
Regarding the indrik mount multi-seasonal events thing in ESO.
There IS a catch-up function, a pretty forgiving one at that.
All together you have to earn 40 tickets.
During most of the events, you can earn one per day and you an only hold a maximum of 12 I think. The feathers you need, there are four total – one for each seasonal event, cost 10.
First event is 15 days I believe. So you earn 10, buy the feather, then earn 5 more to bank until later on. Or if you earn less, then you earn less.
Clockwork City event I think (??) is another 1 per day. Same setup.
The third event is the Undaunted event. It’s shorter, but you can earn 3 per day.
Then there is the December holiday event, which is the longest – again 1 per day.
And the previous event feather remain attainable all the way to the end.
So if you miss some days, you can easily stay on target with earning tickets, buying the four feathers as they become available and getting your mount at the end of the events.
I believe they go into the specific details on the ESO site.
That’s a lot of extra tickets. It isn’t a nailbiter at the end, although you should start now. Starting before now would have been better though. And it’s a dungeon for 3 tickets, not a raid. That one event alone will get you half the needed tickets, and the winter event could get you the other half.
Thanks for the clarification!
I wonder how many people will bother with all this hoop-jumping? I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see their metrics. Oh to be a fly on their wall.
I’ve seen plenty of folks doing the Halloween event, whether or not they are doing ti for the Indrik mount is debatable :) I am definitely not bothering personally, that sort of grind is about as far removed of my idea of a fun gaming night as you can get! lol
I’m logged out at a delve boss and popping in every day now just to pop him one while I am too busy with everything else in life. I am going to try, doggone it! I am going to try! I had not even thought about having that 12 slots for tickets reopen after buying the feather! Thanks for pointing that out.
