Remember way back in March when Studio Wildcard announced ARK: Survival Evolved would be making its way to the Nintendo Switch? It’s happening, folks, and in fact, it’s sooner than you think: November 30th. The hook is that it’s basically akin to the original version of the game; it’s not been stripped down.

“ARK on Switch includes the entire ARK Island, with 100+ prehistoric- and fantasy-inspired creatures such as the T-Rex, Giganotosaurus, Direwolf and Yeti. Stranded on a mysterious prehistoric island, you must explore its vast biomes as you begin to hunt, harvest, craft tools, grow crops and build shelters to survive. Use cunning and skill to kill, tame, breed, and even ride Dinosaurs and other primitive beasts living on The ARK. Advance your technology from primitive stone tools to T-Rex-mounted laser cannons, as you team up with hundreds of players online or enjoy a solo Jurassic experience.”

Expect to pay $49.99 retail for the fun of playing dinos on your couch. Check out the new live-action trailer too!

Arktouros

This really interests me but equally not sure how this would really play out. Many advanced dinos require huge timers and micromanagement. I mean a Bronto on base timers is 8 hours without Kibble. Are consoles really designed to be played for those super long kinds of timers?
