Happy sixth birthday, War Thunder! Here’s what it’s getting you

It's a tank. Let's be honest with ourselves, tanks basically look the same.

That’s how this works, right? The game has a birthday and gets us presents? Well, that’s how it works in MMORPGs, anyway, and that includes War Thunder, which has a lineup of fun in store to celebrate its sixth nameday, from now until November 10th.

“Players await several specials and events in game. Including discounts of up to 50% in the game store, free boosters, decals, a giveaway of the Soviet premium ship Ya-5M as well as tournaments for the rare German E-100 tank and He 162 jet fighter. […] From November 1st to November 5th, all players that reach five victories in the recently introduced Naval Battles will permanently receive the exclusive Soviet gunboat Ya-5M, while participating in just one battle of any kind will yield the exclusive ‘6 Years of War Thunder’ decorative decal.”

Yea, I always find it amusing how someone desperately tries to put every multiplayer game under “MMO” genre…

I get that they need to find some topics to write about but at least be honest with your readers and just call it a “multiplayer” game instead.

You must be confused . MMO stands for massively multiplayer game which War Thunder is . I however would agree that it is not a mmorpg although that could be debated as well because of its simulation modes and custom scenario creation and full dynamic singleplayer campaings

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Thunder what does it say ? Don’t be a dip shit the definition of an mmo is where 1000’s of players connect to a sever . I will not try and rewrite it and neither should anyone else

Double post. Just because it doesn’t meet your requirements as an mmo it most differently is by definition
