Idea Fabrik is still plugging away at The Repopulation, according to its end-of-October dev blog. “The last two tests we did gave us some very valuable information. With the additional cleanup, we’ve progressed 30% further than our previous push attempt,” the studio says. “This has given us valuable data to base the direction of November’s testing. On saying that, documentation and cleanup will continue.”

The team says it’s still working on the revamp for the starter area, Plymouth Control Center, tweaking terrain and flora and cleaning up props as well tidying up and documenting the GUI. And the company has picked up a new composer, who has some mighty big shoes to fill given the high-quality of the game’s original music.

Finally, Idea Fabrik posted up a development video that basically gives players a look into what exactly is going on when the devs are cleaning up a map.
