Path of Exile elaborates on the changes coming to Hideouts with its next major update

The next big update for Path of Exile will shake things up for hideouts. No longer will you be deprived of your carefully crafted hideout with each new league, nor will you be forced to curry favor with a given master just to get a bigger hidey-hole. Still, as nice as all the improvements sound, they also come with questions, and thus the developers have taken time to answer them as comprehensively as possible.

Your Favour will be added together across all characters on your accunt, thus meaning that you’ll lose nothing with this change; similarly, mastercrafting mods will be unlocked on an per-character basis via accomplishing tasks for the masters, so players will not necessarily have them in a League but will still hopefully have access in the non-limited mode of the game. There are also at least 10 new tilesets for players to build hideouts upon, with a hideout available for each and every one.
