Warface hits 5 million console players

So... great?

It turns out that a lot of people with consoles will see a title like Warface and say “yeah, that sounds like a good ride.” Specifically, five million people will download the game on console, according to the latest press release from My.com. That is a whole heck of a lot of people who want to have a war all up in their face. Or a face that looks like war… honestly, the title is a little unclear about how one’s face is interacting with armed conflict.

The game’s latest patch isn’t actually in celebration; it’s just conveniently timed, but it does feature five new maps along with the special operation “Cold Peak,” so that’s new stuff for five million people to take part in. There is, however, a thankful new trailer available just below, which you can watch even if you aren’t one of the five million people who have played the game’s console version.

It’s fun, but it’s very P2W. After level 15 or so, you are put with the big boys, a.k.a. the whales who will wreck you with OP guns and armors.

Guns that gave killer accuracy, ROF and the dropoff DMG is almost the same as in CQC.

Armors that absorb about 30% more than what F2P players can get.

It’s also operated by the greedy Russian company My.Com which is worse than Nexon, Gamigo/Aeria, PWI and Trion combined together.

The servers are trash. I get 50 ping on EU and that should be fine in every other game. But in Warface when I throw a nade, I can litterally see it stuttering and rubberbanding in the air. That should tell yo how the rest feels like. And don’t get me started on hoe you can grt killed behind walls.

Their customer support is also non-existant. My game crashes on launch like on many other people do. I wrote on the forum – no reply for over a month. I guess I can curse and swear and nobody will come to ban me even.

Play at your own risk. I’m personally waiting for AVA Dog Tag.

As for me it’s not P2W, i’m playing for fun with common guns and love WC more than other PS4 shooters.

How much did you play? A few days? A week? Are you still playing in the newbie channels? When you leave them and go on the regular channels you will see what’s up.

I’ve played since launch and still enjoy it. I’m fine with a bit of grinding ,and there are a lot of guns that are equal in power to paid weapons.
Btw, why don’t you try contacting the support if you have tech issues? They probably won’t solve your problen on the forums, because it’s not the moderators job. You can send a ticket here

The one and only game that escaped Scott Hartsman’s Trion hellhouse.

I can just imagine him telling Crytek:

“Yeah guys. We’re sorry. It’s just not going to work out with Warface here at Trion.

We’re destined for great things with our Red Door publishing platform and well… we don’t see Warface doing well and fitting in around here as a viable, important part. But, we do wish you all the best of luck!”

At first I thought Eliot typed “Warframe” wrong. Twice. Turns out Warface is actually a thing and not a typo or an 80’s thrash metal band.

I downloaded it on my Xbox, tried a few matches, thought it was trash and never touched it again.
