One of the two major MMO Kickstarter success stories of 2018 was most definitely Temtem, the clearly Pokemon-inspired “massively multiplayer creature-collection adventure” that raised more than half a million dollars on the crowdfunding platform in July. It’s seen pretty quick turnaround too, as the alpha for backers has launched as of this week, and in fact, if you chipped in at least $30 for the campaign, you should already have your key and can update with the 0.1.1 patch. Not all the critters are in yet, mind you – just the Paharo evo-line, Umishi evo-line, Kaku evo-line, Pigepic and Barnshe.
“Temtem is a challenging game, don’t hesitate to use your items if you’re in trouble,” the devs at Crema wrote in a Kickstarter update to backers. “There’s no tutorials yet on the Alpha. The main menu can be opened with TAB (or LT if using a Gamepad) and you can interact with NPC/Signs with F (or A if using a Gamepad).” Nintendo Switch support was also included as a stretch goal.
Welcome to #Temtem! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.❤️
Alpha will be launched today, so you should check our latest Kickstarter post that clarifies how are we going to send the keys.
