The Division 2 details its skills meant to change up gameplay

Seriously, label your garbage.

There’s a lot going on in The Division 2, but maybe you don’t care about that; you just want to know the different ways you can set things on fire. The good news, then, is that out of the five skill lines previewed on the official site, each of them allows players a way to immolate people. You could have gas canisters launching flammable clouds, turrets belching gouts of flame, drones flying around and also belching out gouts of flame, or swarming micro-drones that… well, those just explode, but there’s still flame there.

Skills are meant to offer another customization vector, allowing players access to specialized tools within five categories that range from being damaging to restraining to beneficial to allies. So you can launch micro-drones to repair your ally’s armor, toss out foam canisters to immobilize enemies, or just set a drone wandering about and shooting at hostiles. Check out the full preview for more information on the ways you can take charge of the battlefield… or just set most of it on fire, if that’s your style, when the game comes out in March.

With Anthem launching a few weeks before, this will give plenty of time to get Anthem reviews out first before deciding. I told myself I’d never buy another EA game again but these are desparate times.

So if March 15 is the release date, does that mean we should hear about a delay in about 3-4 weeks?

I HOPE they delay it. It’s my favorite pseudo-MMO so for two reasons:

1) make sure everything works properly

2) Just bought a PSVR bundle.. SuperHot, Creed; then bought Thumper, Megaton Rainstorm, Moss, still playing RDR2Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Become Human still on my shelves untouched… no way I’m going to finish all of this by March.

Like most Ubisoft games, I’m assuming there will be at least a slight delay, and it will be well justified. The one thing that has me concerned is they’re also starting to expire Ubistore units at the end of March, so while I’d like to plan on loading up on Division 2 goodies I’m sure I’ll have to burn a few hundred on AC and For Honor stuff just to avoid losing points

Maybe, but from the couple of streamers invited to play it already, they seem to think it’s in a good place already. Hopefully no delay, don’t want another Mechwarrior 5.

Please God no… first time I ever prayed for a delay.

Even Spider Man is now $40, which means I have to get that. First World problems I guess…
