If you’re in dire need of some kind of augmented reality title with a magical theme and the thought of waiting until 2019 for the Harry Potter version sends you into cold shivers… well, you might want to see someone about that; it’s not healthy. But Covens: The Ember Days will at least help ameliorate that waiting, as it involves your walking through the world, casting spells, controlling locations… you know, the usual AR sort of concept.
Players take the role of witches, move around the map, and align with specific forces of magic while competing against other players. It’s also available now, so you can walk out of work right now to go fulfill your witch-related fantasies. Although perhaps you should wait until designated break hours, this doesn’t quite look like the “walk out of work because this is your new life” sort of game.
