CCP announces event schedule for 2019’s EVE Online World Tour

Not satisfied with their massive yearly Fanfests, the folks at CCP Games are taking EVE on a world tour, and they’ve just announced the dates and ports of call for the 2019 series of celebrations. Things will be kicking off in Amsterdam, where from March 23rd and 24th players will be able to attend a keynote presentation that will “give insight into what lies ahead for EVE” before taking part in the city’s famous nightlife with the CCP team.

From there, things will move to St. Petersburg, Russia, followed by Sydney, Australia, and Toronto, Canada, before heading to Kemiönsaari, Finland, for the truly unique Fanfest HOME event, where the CCP team will “host a personal, home-sized version of the legendary Fanfest in a player’s living room.” Although this will likely, by its very nature, be a rather small, intimate gathering, players around the world will of course be able to join the festivities virtually via livestream.

After that, the tour will move to Berlin, Germany, before hopping across the Atlantic for EVE Vegas, then it’ll wrap up back across the pond in London, England, on November 23rd. If you’re interested in joining in on the fun, be sure to stay tuned — ticketing information and further details will be announced next year on January 15th. In the meantime, if you want to read more about the planned schedule, you can find the whole thing over at EVE’s official site.
