EVE Online fan builds a custom fishtank with a Keepstar battle station

Considering how much nautical terminology space battles tend to adopt, we think it feels like a natural progression to include some scenery from space in an aquarium display. Of course, there’s a difference between scenery and an entire Keepstar battle station custom-built within a fish tank, but that’s what this enterprising EVE Online fan has built for his fishtank. This is even more impressive when you consider that it’s the second such installation that he’s made for a fishtank.

The fact that he goes by the handle “Johnson Stroker” undercuts a lot of that, admittedly.

The first scene was simply one of ship mining, but for the battle station, the fan in question had to custom-build and custom-print parts of the model while also sealing them with a fish-safe sealant to avoid any damage to the model or the fish themselves. It’s still impressive, even more so when you see that the fish in his display were picked to correspond with the colors of enemies and allies on the game’s HUD.
