Seize the spoils of war in The Elder Scrolls Online’s Midsummer Madness PvP event

The drums of war are sounding in The Elder Scrolls Online as the game gears up for its Midsummer Madness PvP event. From Thursday, January 10th until Monday, January 21st, players can get their hands on the event-exclusive Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity, a reusable buff item that grants double Alliance Points and PvP XP.

On top of that, in addition to receiving the usual rewards for participating in PvP activities and completing PvP-related quests, players will also receive Pelinal’s Midyear Boon Boxes, which can contain an array of goodies ranging from transmute crystals and alchemy reagents to style items and housing decorations. And as if that weren’t enough, players will also have the opportunity to stock up on crafting materials, as harvesting nodes in Cyrodiil and the Imperial City will yield twice as many resources for the duration of the event.

And of course, Midsummer Madness will also give players the chance to earn event tickets that can be used to buy the first of their Indrik Berries necessary to evolve their Nascent Indrik mounts into full-grown Dawnwood Indrik mounts. Event tickets are rewarded from completing PvP daily quests, and players can earn up to two tickets per day. For the full details on the Midsummer Madness event, be sure to check out the announcement over at the game’s official site.

I really tried to enjoy ESO. But damn is the combat boring.

I’ve been wanting that laurel crown since the event was first announced, but just couldn’t bring myself to do PvP. If there’s anything that makes me hate people, it’s pushing me into forced PvP situations. I canceled my sub and quit playing ESO last year. I have a sub now. How badly do I want the crown? BLEH

I will meditate on this and probably go running back to BDO. Odd, isn’t it? I don’t run into PvP in BDO anymore. xD

I’m pretty sure event tickets will be earnable at all seasonal events from now on, and all items (feathers/berries) will stay on the vendor.
After all, we will be able to unlock four different Indrik skins, all of which need four feathers each and one (or more?) berries.

So even if you dislike PVP (as I do), you should still be able to get the Indriks. I’ve already got some extra feathers stocked up from the previous events as well.

Also, going to the link provided, the name currently shown for the event is ” Midyear Mayhem.” Not sure where “midsummer” is coming from unless they too looked outside and noticed the season and changed it.

As for “Midyear,” I once had a sales person define that as any date between January 1 and December 31, so whatever.

STAHP!

Don’t make pve’rs pvp!

The pve’rs don’t like it.

The hardcore pvp’ers don’t like it.

Only the gankers like it and no one likes them.

&^$^&())&@%$@%%$#& stupidity.
