IMHO There a difference between streaming an early access games/choose my adventure an early access game and just covering the alpha/beta.

Bree, in response to the Early Access e-mail, by Terraria clone, were you thinking of Cube World by chance? Though that was 3D so maybe not. Just curious.

Ooh you know I went looking for the game I had in mind and cannot for the life of me find it. But dummy me DID buy Cube World, and that’s a great example too of how supporting devs early just comes back to bite ya in the ass. Grrrrr.

I’m following Cube World Reddit just in hope one day the game comes back.

Its true Bree

Every 20 hours you can pay the ESO stablemaster 250 gold to increase either your mounts Speed (self explan), its Stamina (how long it can maintain that full gallop speed) or its Carry Capacity. And its carry capacity increases your carry limit by one for each point. All three mount stats can be increased upto 60 max.

Also at the first 20 point mark in any of the three stats you also gain the visual change for the mount, armor for stamina, tack for speed and saddlebags for carry capacity, any or all of which can be toggled off if you don’t like them.

So yup thats 60 extra inventory slots at 250g each which is a damn sight cheaper than the cost of the bag and bank increases which become progressively more expensive but add 10 spaces each time.

As a handy tip try to log out next to a stablemaster when you play that way it is easy to remember to do it next time you log on :)

I logged some alts right by the stables. I would log on each day, murder the two NPCs next to the stable and use their money to train my mount. By the time I was ready to play them they were maxed.

This is the most Elder Scrolls way of leveling ever.

Excellent, as usual, and there is no happy medium ;)! Keep writing about, and calling out early access, and keep telling people NO!!! Most won’t listen, but one or two might – and that’s a win!

My response to Breach was quite similar to Justin’s. I like the idea and the setting, but in practice it really does play like some of the worst parts of TSW, and none of the counterbalancing stuff like TSW’s writing or deck building is present.

Ah well, next time…

Quick update here – during this podcast, we discuss the ArcheAge mount normalization issue. Since our recording on Monday afternoon, Gamigo has announced it’s reversing the normalization, meaning players will get the speedy mounts they paid for.
