Sheogorath returns as Elder Scrolls Legends launches the Isle of Madness expansion

Elder Scrolls Legends has officially rolled out Isle of Madness today, the next chapter for the MMOTCG. According to Bethesda, it’s the game’s largest update so far and is accompanied by a large update to the game’s Arena (and a destash of cards therein).

“As retired master spy Talym Rend, players take an expedition to the Shivering Isles and confront the Mad God himself. How far will you go to save the ones you love – even if it meant sacrificing everything? Cross paths with Sheogorath, the Daedric Prince of Madness, across three perilous acts in The Elder Scrolls: Legends’ biggest adventure yet. Along the way, players can earn up to 55 playable cards for their collections, including all-new Double Cards. Plus, new lane conditions that bring the madness to life!”

As we’ve previously noted, the triple pack with all three acts of the update is on sale for $19.99, although you can buy the acts individually for a small markup as well. The update is live for PC and mobile. We’ll be streaming the new update at 1 p.m. EST today, so join us on OPTV shortly after this piece goes live!

Although I have a bone to pick with Sheogorath I have not played Legends … I will just have to look him up again in eso.

My favorite DLC for all of the single player TES games was The Shivering Isles.

I never played it, but someone told me it was strongly implied that the hero from Oblivion succeeded to being the next Sheogorath. After his delightful appearance in Skyrim I resolved to play the Dragonborn as Sheogorath. I got the face sliders for his in-game appearance from a site, rolled a character named Sheogorath, and proceeded to do his quest as soon as I could. Thus at level 5 I was wandering around Skyrim AS SHEOGORATH hitting things with the Wabbajack. Good times, good times.
