The year of the pig is approaching, and this year, Hearthstone is getting in on the Lunar New Year fun with a celebratory event featuring an exclusive bundle sale, limited-time quests with extra rewards, and a free commemorative golden card. The prelude to the festivities begins today with the introduction of the Lunar New Year bundle to the in-game shop. For $19.99 US, players can snag a total of 30 booster packs — 10 packs from The Witchwood, 10 from The Boomsday Project, and 10 from Rastakhan’s Rumble.

The event proper, however, doesn’t kick off until the Lunar New Year itself on February 5th. For the duration of the event, players can undertake a number of “beefed up” Lunar New Year quests that will grant players gold and dust as rewards for completion. In addition, players who log in to the game during the Lunar New Year celebration will receive an exclusive golden Fireworks Tech card to commemorate the occasion. And to top it all off, players can share their cheer and good fortune with a firework-filled Lunar New Year emote. The event and the bundle sale will run until February 13th. For the full details, check out the event announcement over at the game’s official site.
