Warframe’s Fortuna: The Profit-Taker hits Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as Switch port awaits certification

A little over a month after its PC launch, Warframe’s Fortuna: The Profit-Taker update is now live on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, adding “fresh new missions, deeper lore, and giant robot spiders.” What more could you possibly ask for? Well, we guess you could ask for a new Warframe, and as it so happens, the update has one of those, too: The newest addition to the roster, Baruuk, uses his unique Restraint resource to oscillate between calm evasion and all-out offense.

Of course, there’s plenty of other new content for console players to enjoy as well. Throughout the game’s new missions, players will be able to wield the powerful Archguns, help to conserve three new species of fantastical fauna in the wilderness of Vallis, and get their hands on all-new operator amps, weapons, mods, and customizations to keep their arsenals on the cutting edge.

And if you’re a Nintendo Switch player who just can’t wait to get your hands on Fortuna, we’ve got some good news for you, too. Digital Extremes Community Director Rebb Ford has announced that part one of the Fortuna update has been submitted to Nintendo for certification. There’s no timeframe on when players can expect the update to go live on the Switch, as the proverbial ball is now in Nintendo’s court, but if all goes well, the wait shouldn’t be too much longer.
